Thomas Ashley FarrandQigong
with Polly Sundari Maliongas

As a healing modality of Chinese Medicine, qigong combines breath and movement while developing your awareness and focus. Slowing down your breath and movement allows the mind to calm which in turn balances the emotions and creates healing. In addition to movement, qigong incorporates sound (mantra) and hand positions (mudra) to create healing. Qigong forms create an oportunnity for our meridians to open, increase circulation, promote organ function, train our focus, balance emotions and connect within.

Nourishing Woman Qigong: a restorative, self-healing method for all phases of a woman's life This powerful form of sitting meditation, utilizes visualization to nourish the female body. During the form, the practitioner gathers the supreme yang Qi of the sun and the supreme yin Qi of the moon. The two combine and create a complete healing energy that nourishes a woman's yin and yang energy.  This form is especially effective with cases of infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological disorders.

One Thousand Hands Buddha: One Thousand Hands Buddha Qigong brings you the opportunity to turn your external focus inward. A seated form using mudras (hand positions) to open the heart, calm the mind,  balance the emotions and release the five toxins of the heart.  A training ground to slow our movements and breath and bringing the mind to a single focus - leading us to our innate noble heart. This method is particularly helpful for releasing daily stress and maintaining memory.

Polly Maliongas, founder of Moongate Chinese Medicine, moved to Portland from Atlanta, Georgia to study at the Oregon College of  Oriental Medicine. She resides in Oregon and brings over ten years of energy healing study and practice to her classes. Throughout these years, Polly has had the opportunity to study Qi with a variety of amazing Masters, practitioners, and teachers. By developing a relationship with Chinese medicine and Qigong, she has experienced a deep healing and acquired valuable tools for self-discovery. You are invited to become acquainted with her healing techniques for your own self-discovery, empowerment and healing.
