Bhakti: The Interfaith Path of Devotion and Love

Over 40 people joined Swami Anjani, one of Ma Jaya's sannyas, for an evening meditation and lecture on understanding Bhakti (devotion and love for the Divine). Swami Anjani, the Pujari who leads the Hanuman Fire Puja celebration at Kashi Ashram in Sebastian, Florida, shared her experiences of a life of devotion during her 35 years with her guru Ma Jaya. She gave practical advice on how to make each moment in our daily lives a moving prayer, as well as sharing always-loved stories about Hanuman from the Ramayana. Swami Anjani stayed and shared Prasad (food that has been blessed) with everyone long after the meditation, answering individual questions and giving advice and encouragement.
