Embracing the Silence of the Soul

Over 70 yogis and yoginis from Atlanta to Ft Walton, Florida gathered at Dragonfly Yoga Studies for Jaya Devi Bhagavati's teachings on Embracing the Silence of the Soul. The two-day workshop began with wonderful kirtan led by Kashi Atlanta's kirtan walas. Jaya Devi then led participants in a deep meditation into the circle of the soul, and taught about the simplicity of this silent space. The following day began with an in-depth two-hour classical yoga class. Jaya Devi then led participants in another deep meditation on the silent space of the soul. She taught how this space can help us consume our negative thoughts and reactions, and how to use this space to live and serve. Everyone left blessed and grateful for the weekend and the time spent together.
